IHG UPDATE

Hi All,

If you're wondering what's the status of our Sports IHG, and wondering whether we're still on course to be CHAMPION HALL, then you're reading the right stuff.

Although there have been dissapointments in some sports, we also had surprises for a few sports. All in all, to summarise, we're doing very well, and still have a good chance of getting champions. However, to achieve that, we will need to win a few tight matches, which I always believe will be much easier with a great crowd cheering and supporting our players on.

This week, we will be tested in the Volleyball Guys Semi Finals, where we face Hall 3 once again. As they're also in the running for Champion Sports Hall, this is a must-win match for us. On Friday, we'll play tennis (revived due to an unlucky mistake by Hall 6 in fielding an extra IVP player), 6pm at SRC, in Semi Finals and hopefully we'll get through to Finals. Our Basketball Girls are also playing on Friday, a Semi Final match against Hall 1, 9pm at NIE. Then on Saturday, the road relay team will be trying to go one notch up from last year by getting Top 2. They'll be running on Saturday morning, 9am.

Finals:
Badminton vs Hall 3, 5th Feb, Venue TBC, Time TBC.
Volleyball F vs Hall 7, Date TBC, NIE.
Basketball M vs Hall 6, Date TBC, NIE.

It's either we win it as a HALL or we don't win at all, so this IHG is not just about the players, but YOU as well. Come down and help our HALL win!
