LIGHTS OUT!!

Today’s match was an exciting display of determination, experience and skill. Despite the fact that our hall was up against a strongly seeded team, our hall performed extremely well. In the first half of the match, our girls were dominating and attacking offensively, clinching 2 goals consecutively within matter of minutes. As the game proceeds, we begin to lose our dominance as hall 6 pushed up the tempo of the game. Later in the second half, our opponents made a strong comeback and managed to draw the game with a score of 2-2. PENALTIES!!! Element of suspense lingered around the crowd of spectators as we were all eager to see who crown the game this year. The two halls were evenly matched and even penalty couldn’t decide a clear winner. Penalty drags on and atmosphere was tense. All eyes were focusing on the 13^th penalty stroke, and……. The lights WENT OFF!!! The penalty lasted for an HOUR!! Unfortunately, the game couldn’t carry on and it had to be postponed. To be continued…….
